Conferences

Getting the space and facilities you need to make the business happen

We have extensive facilities for hosting conferences. Each facility is equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities and has a dedicated, friendly team on hand to take care of your every last detail. The New Technology Institute (NTI) in Birmingham opened in January 2006 with custom designed premises. It combines excellent customer service with modern, luxury facilities offering event planners and organisers an excellent environment to host and run meetings, conferences and training courses.

The Pavilion provides the local community and businesses with a unique environment for social and corporate functions in a purpose built facility which combines contemporary interiors against a back drop of lush green fields. The centre is able to accommodate up to 250 meeting attendees and has a fully licensed bar on site. The Pavilion is just a 10 minute drive from the Birmingham City Centre.

European Funded Activities: best practice partnerships internationally

Birmingham City University partakes in many European Funded Activities which add-value to our services and allow the University to share best practice and create and maintain effective partnerships internationally. Digital Media is an area being increasingly supported by the European Commission and Birmingham City University has made the most of this support by leading and partnering in international, exciting and innovative projects around a digital media theme.
